Couple more Cal Tjader EPs, one on Fantasy Records and one on Savoy (that one is autographed!)  Also a sorta hard to find Charlie Mariano EP on Fantasy.

 

 

Great little book

My latest acquisition.  I just picked up this cool little book last night.  A decent read so far, and man oh man, what a cover!  Here is Ralph Raymond's Heir by Horatio Alger, Jr.:

A good find

I've always been a big Cal Tjader fan.  Heck, this blog was supposed to be called Tjaded but someone already has it.  A nice little gem of an EP made it my way yesterday--it has the earlier version of Wachi Wara (Soul Sauce) on it, which I like a little more than the better known 60's version on Verve.  It's not in the best shape, but it's not one that comes along too often.  I was happy to get it either way.
